Just bought a 1996 2.7 5spd tacoma what maintenance would you recommend.

I bought this truck from a older guy he only drove it 4,000 miles in the 3 years he had it. He did not know if the transmission or any fluids where changed besides the oil because he has not done it. He has only put new plugs plug wires and a battery in it. Im planning on doing the transfer case fluid, tranmission, front and rear diffs and i was going to do a radiator flush or should i just drain and put new fluid in. Also the fuel filter. Any other maintenance you can recommend?

Also what fluid would you use i was going to use redline 75w90 for everything the trans rear and fron diffs and the transfer case. Or should i use something else in your opinion? Truck has 146k miles runs great just want to do preventative maintenance.

 

I'd check the plugs he used. If they aren't ngk replace them.
