Just bought a 1999 Tacoma 4cyl 4x4

    prior weekend got some used tires installed:





    went from 10% tread to about 75% tread.

    thanks...my goal is to change as little as possible on exterior, just make sure she is mechanically sound for mudding, light trail rides and the drive back and forth.

    No, but the smell has dissipated.
    I'm assuming previous owner reused a piece of hose from another car that might of had gas going through it. or somehow old radiator cap wound up in a container of gas.
    Radiator is new, but cap was old... so who knows...
    After I bought new radiator cap, 2 weeks later, smell is 90% gone.
    I did check for "milk shake" and bubbles, negative on both.
    When I did oil change, there was no water or any other foreign substance in oil. I even opened up oil filter to make sure.

    Next weekend I will put in new radiator hoses and drain green coolant, replacing with pink. So hopefully nothing weird comes out of that.
