My Dad once flew to LA to pick up a Bimmer he "won"on eBay, but the owner "couldn't find" the title. He wound up with a better car to drive home in.

As long as the same wheels are on the truck that were pictured on ebay as presented, I wouldnt be upset at all, an audi dealership just probably thought they were 18's. I would rather stock wheels any day than aftermarket when purchasing.

Now, the dent is something that wasnt told to you and that is upsetting. However, if you get there and this thing has no mechanical issues for $4,000.00 less than book you are doing great. You can probably nit pick this truck all day long, but you are also getting a real good deal on a great truck.

Good Luck.... I cant wait to hear the outcome of this.

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
I wouldn't be too upset about the stock wheels, but don't tell me a dealer doesn't know how to read a tire size.

Enkei's are usually a port option. If it's what the auction listed, don't leave without them. It'll make up for the fender bender (bumper) damage.

Yeah, and here in southern California I couldn't hardly find a used 4x4. There was a point in time where I was cruising Craigslist in Denver looking for a truck. Figured I would have my uncle go check it out since he lives there.

Funny thing is that all my family in Colorado gets around with front wheel drive cars and studded tires in the winter. My aunt and uncle have a couple of pretty serious 4x4s if needed, but they usually just use them for snow 4x4ing, not for getting to the grocery store.

I'm sure if you can't repair that bumper you'll find someone here on TW selling a bumper sooner or later

That's what my Dad said. He's coming with me as its an excuse for him to go to the Rockies, plus some father son time would be fun (though not looking forward to 1,400 miles of side seat driving).

But he looked into it, they promised 18" Enkeis.... Toyota offered them as a dealer prep item he said. He says he expects to get those wheels. He knows I'm the type to let stuff go, but he said to threaten bad feedback. I just feel good getting the truck for so much less than the price the dealer wanted. Hell I saw a '07 today same everything, at a Buick dealership with 17,995 on the side.........Loving the re-sale value.

    7-8.

I was going to drive back in a day and a half. (I used to drive non-stop to NYC from NOLA) But with my dad going we are making it a vacation. I have a plane rental booked (I'm a private pilot), two rafting trips, some hikes and I want to drive up Pikes Peak. Then stop by my Mom's in Austin.

So I'm going to take a nice long trip.
Just got insurance put on it, funny to have insurance and never even have seen the truck.

Also the other day I got to drive a four door. My customer had one, and I told him I would knock his price down if he let me do a circuit on the I-10.
Has a good deal of power, not as wide as I'm used to but a nice feel. I'm going to miss my giant console, and floor shift in a truck feels weird. But I also drive a Jetta, so this is more of a in the middle type deal.

I put $40 in my truck today, barely went anywhere and its already on "e". 10mpg is just horrid. Thats why I'm going to de-tune my Ram before I sell it.

My Dad bought a 740i from some guy in LA. He flies all the way out there and the guy "can't find the title", he said the car wasn't that nice, so he decided to fly back home pissed. Seeing that it was LA, he decided to check an Audio trader, and found some divorcee selling her husbands 740il, fo a good price and it had only 65,000 miles. So he went out there for a seven sereis and wound up with the long wheelbase model for less.

My flight leaves NOLA(MSY) at 6am CST, I land in Denver at 7:45MST, I then take a bus to boulder, and another bus to the dealership. So, I should have it by lunch time.
