    Damn,

Im considering buying a total base red 2006 reg cab with 47k on it for 9300. The only thing not base stock is a cap.

I thought it was a decent price until this thread.:(

bad thing is my old truck is gone and I need a new truck this week and tacomas in michigan are pretty rare

I'm on a really slow connection, but here are some pics of it on a gravel trail in the Rockies.

To be honest if I lived out here I would have to have a 4x4, trail riding is fun. But this is a very light trail, a car could do it easy...

They have tons of 4x4 only trails. All we have in La are mud trails.

I don't know I am stopping in Hutto to see my Mom, and then going to the Saints game in Houston. I have a busy schedule. Lots of miles.
    Put 325 on it today.

Long route from Ft. Collins to Colorado Springs going through the National Park and then the back roads through the mountains.

This thing is a great road truck.

I went to Harbor Freight and got some stuff to fix the compass and all, but I didn't get to the hotel until 1:30.

Just wanted to get the pics up. Going to drive up Pikes Peak tomorrow. See how the Taco handles 15,000 feet. Though it did good going to 12,000. Just kept it in third gear..

That touchup is a no brainer ... any decent paint shop can do that for a few hundred. That V6 handles nice at altitude, doesn't it? Congrats. Glad to see you enjoying the state.

Looks great...the damage around the fog popped out nicely too. Again, congrats on beating the system with this one. Score.

My plan in life is to retire to this state. But everytime I come I get a new favorite city. I used to want to live in Colorado Springs, then Boulder, now I'm into Fort Collins.

I may need to start looking to relocate out here. If I won the lottery a summer house here would be my first purchase. I've been to 47 states, and none of them have the natural beauty and great air of this state, but Tennessee is close...

I'm looking out the window now at tons of mountains. Crazy thing is I've been out here more than a dozen times but never in winter. I think I'm going to skip Mardi Gras this year and come out here that week. (cause its a holiday only for our region; off work but usually not a busy travel time)

You'll love those tires, unless you already do! I have had mine on since Anchorage, AK and they are awesome. I drove from Anchorage down to Windsor, CO with them and absolutely no issues. No issues with the rain or anything since I've been here either.

the pakistani comment was uncalled for..kinda racist.

you flat our STOLE that truck!! drive it to california and sell it for a big profit easy..drive safe. glad the process worked out for you. OUTSTANDING story.

Well if he knew the guy was from that area, its not really racist. If I bought a diesel truck from a white guy that had it lifted and huge ass wheels and tires and dual stacks and shit and said the interior had a funky "chew" smell and said the guy was white is that racist?

lol each to his own I guess.

Perfect opportunity to take some of the money you saved and get in on the Katzkin group buy and swap out the funky B.O. smell for fresh leather smell:

I get that. But it had that characteristic smell that some people from that region have, I had no idea what it was and that was how the dealer explained it to me. Plus its a country not a race.....

Anyway, Tons of air freshener helped. It reminded me of the Seinfeld episode where Jerry couldn't give his BMW away cause of the hidden smell.
