Just bought a 2008 Base model. One owner 2.7L, auto with 95K miles. Clean Carfax. Air and a radio is all I need. Body and white paint are fine except for a few chips on the hood. Will touch that up soon.

It's a great truck IMO and it covers all the needs in transportation that I need.

But looking through this forum, I might have brought a problem I didn't know about. I'm concerned now about possible frame rust. I live in North Mississippi and everything points to truck being local.

Should I be concerned about rust? They never salt the roads around here.

    Thanks
    John

An up close examination of the frame will answer your question.
Some get driven in road salts during winter out of state trips and never get rinsed off.
