That's not a limited slip rear, you have an open Diff.

What does the LSD ON illumation mean then?

I'm definitely thinking black mats front and rear. Was also thinking of adding the toyota emblems and Ted stickers back on as well or what do you all think of the current look?

There is a Weathertech group buy going on right now, and you can get them in black.

Smartest thing I've read all day!

I would do a "Satoshi" mesh grill mod. If youre fairly handy you can diy for <$100 there is plenty of diy info and photos on here.

I did mine on my day off using flat black powdercoated hexagonal mesh and a tube of Automotive "Goop", both bought from customcargrills.com.

The only tools i used were a plunge saw for cutting away plastic, a Dremel with a sanding bit, and a popsicle stick for careful "Goop" application. It came out looking store bought and very clean.

Mesh-$55, "Goop"-$8, shipping-$18, popsicle stick stolen from a small child- Free, Satisfaction of a job well done....Priceless!

Also, HomerTaco sells the necessary parts or will build one for you for a fee.

you beat me too it! there is no LSD after 2008. Looks good, besides the LSD thing, 2009 is a good year for prerunners and i think previous owner took care of the basic stuff. So as far as your question about what you need to do... grab some beer, hit a trail, find kool place to hang out, drink previous mentioned beer and enjoy :)

Run, run away! This site cost you lots of money and explanations with the wife on why it was important to buy truck parts over retirement.

If I don't have the limited slip, then why does it say auto limited slip differential on the window sticker. Also, when I turn the traction control button off, it pops up and says in red lighted letters, auto LSD on. If 2009 didn't have this, then what is happening?

yah, modding these trucks is addictive :) I bought mine brand new and have spent more on strictly mods than the price of the truck! LOL! ... but i dont regret any of it :)

It uses the brakes to control wheel spin instead of the rear diff. actually locking.

The first thing I would get are running boards. You are going to come out to your truck and some big Dodge is going to be parked up against it and it's going to be covered in door dings.

I was also contemplating removing my Leer shell and the bedrug carpet kit. If I'm allowed to ask, what is that setup worth and what are your guys thoughts about how it looks on the truck?

Because you have a simulated limited slip differential where the brakes work to reproduce the effects of a limited slip differential without you actually having one. An actual mechanical LSD uses clutches to transfer more torque to the non-slipping wheel.

The end result is essentially the same thing, so whether or not having an auto-LSD versus an 'actual' LSD is as good or better/worse is a matter of debate.

    locking rear differentials FTW

Congratulations on the truck. I honestly wouldn't do anything to the truck other than floor mats (Husky xact fits) or sub $150 mods. Do a lot of fun research and see what others have done that make your sphincter tingle.

Depending on condition, you could justifiably ask up to $1200 - $1500 for the topper. But expect to get offers closer to $1000 or below. I think that model retails for ~$2000 - ~$2500, but don't quote me on that.
I have no clue about the rug. That's trash in my opinion.

The rug is growing on me. Probably because my 7 and 1 year old kids absolutely love playing in the bed. The rug is thick and soft so it's nice to sit or lay on. It also velcros into place. I will keep the whole setup now
