    Hi all,

Just signed up with an account but have been following this site for weeks. Just bought my new Tacoma and I could not be more pleased. Wanted to share with you how I bought and probably help some of you save some money if your in the market of buying a new or used car.

I used a car broker and I could not have been more happy. I highly recommend these guys....Authority Auto. I worked with Richard and he was great. They are based in CA but they will work out of any state. I live in NV.

I found them from a YouTube video I saw while researching how to get the best deal. They got me a better deal and all I did was tell them what I wanted. Presto....delivered right to my door. Could not be happier. YouTube link below is the one I saw.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekmXPOkzzUc

    Hope this helps.

FYI put Fuel 18 inch rims (Hostage) with Toyo Open Country AT2 275/70/18 tires

    Pretty truck. Needs a chin-ectomy though. :)

gotta say though, reading your post had me wondering if you were a shill for the company mentioned... really a "Walks like a duck, Quacks like a duck" thing when a brand new user posts up about some service or company they used. Just saying that as a FYI.

    Anyway, welcome.

Re-reading the OP has me physically sick to my stomach. There is only so much sales pitch I can take

Nice looking truck .. good luck and congrats.

Loose the chin strap... not a fan of those side steps either but to each there own, I know the dealerships like them = curb appeal and mall crawl.

Lol I guess it was a little overkill. It was the day I got my truck so some of that could have spilled over. Just my experience, do as u will.

As far as negotiating, my time is valuable and I often work weekends. After going back and forth with one dealer one weekwnd and seeing the video I used them and let him wheel and deal. I make more in a weekend shift than what it cost to pay them. Not about "growing a pair" but time management.

Work in process....might clean up the chin issue. Maybe throw on a bull bar.

You said a "used car broker". Is that 2017 used? Def post your deal? Also is there a lift on that thing or just the 18s? Any rubbing if no lift

    Thx!

Ill post by deal when I get home...

You can pay $800 ($200 deposit, rest when u get the truck)

    or

Negotiate a deal and have them go in and see if they can improve your deal. If they can you split the difference.

I used a broker, not "used car broker". It was a new 2017.

Bilsteins 5100 max lift with Bilsteins and aal in back. Had the dealer install them for $2700 to keep warranty. No rub.

All that money the broker "saved" you, and you gave it right back to the dealership !
