Just bought a 2004 TRD off road, 2wd with 95K miles on it.
The gentleman had it in Arizona and not a single scratch or frame rust.
    Brand new Ko2 tires ( 300 miles ).
    Truck is in amazing condition.
Paid 13,400$. Never thought I'd pay that much for a 2004 truck but book value was even more than that.
Also the reported miles that some guys have on these trucks really sold me. Extremely happy with it.
First Mod: cassette to aux cable cause if I hear one more Luke Bryan song on the radio, I'm gonna lose my mind.

Congrats. Looks beautiful. I searched for a while, and found one very similar to yours. LOVE it.

What size are your tires? Mine are 225/70/16.

    Your price is right

My first mod was WeatherTech floor mats. Second will be trans/diff fluid.

Weathertech are definitely gonna be my next order. Getting the front windows tinted now to match the rear. As far as mods, and Im probably gonna be an outcast after I say this, I don't like lifting or anything like that. I'm the stock boring guy ha
Gonna add a hitch tho when I get a Jon boat.

Don't forget your power ECT will help you with towing and your rear locker for boat ramps and off roading.
Nice truck man, tires look like 265/75s.

Ours came with a hitch. No lifting here either.

My first Tacoma was a 2003 model. I think it was my favorite vehicle I've ever owned. I miss the old girl.

Can I put that size tires on my stock wheels? My stock wheel design are exactly the same as OP. I just don't know if 265 width is ok for my wheels, or if all the wheels that design are the same width?

LOVE your bumper. Need those, as I would like some additional lighting up front.

    Nice! Great looking truck!

I do have to brag though (since you said yours was the cleanest ;))...found my '04 a few months ago with only 24,000 miles on it. Looks and smells brand new still :p

I've been hitting up trails almost every weekend since and managed to keep her clean, maybe a few pinstripes but nothing too severe....yet.

Congrats on the truck! First gen best gen :amen:

Mine came with the K02's as well, best tires I've ever had. They are amazing off-road and perform well on-road as well.

Congrats on the clean 1st gen. My 3rd gen is growing on me, but I miss my 1st.

While you are thinking about what to spend your money on, you may want to consider the timing belt & water pump service in the near future.

265/75 is a tad bigger than stock but most people can get away with it, it's a good size but might rub at tight turns. 265/70 is stock so there wouldn't be any issues there - if it was my truck I'd go 265/75 (which I did before going 285/75)

I ran 265/75/16's on my first gen. Rubbing was mild and only at full turn or full compression of the (stock) suspension. They are about a half inch taller, same width as 265/70/16's.

Research and consider the Husky mats instead of the WeatherTech. I wish I had.

The WeatherTech fit fine for me, I just don't care for the rigidity they have, nor the slick feel.

I don't really off road much, just to get to a mountain bike trail or a hunting spot but definitely with the boat ramp. Thought shouldn't have any problems towing a Jon boat.
The gentleman I got the truck from put them on but there is no lift, and stock suspension. No rubbing at all.

I think husky are cheaper. I had them when I had a jeep, and they worked really well.
