Congrats ... I had a silver 2004 that was just like it and I should have kept that truck.

I think maybe closer to 50k from what I hear, depending of course on conditions. I've put 4k on mine and they've seen a lot of airing down/off-roading miles, I haven't seen any wear on them yet

Very nice truck! With some minor maintenance i'm sure it'll last you a very long time. It's going to look perfect with some tint. If you are looking for floor liners, I would recommend you look at the Husky xact contours as well, they are more pliable than the weatherbeaters and provide very good coverage. Congrats! :burnrubber:

    OP, score!

Also, what this guy said VVVV

I had Weathertechs in my 1st gen, now I have Husky Weatherbeaters in my 2nd gen. I'm a bigger fan of the latter.

You would think but unfortunately not the case even here in cowboy country. Luckily we still have 1 or 2 stations that play the good stuff. This new stuff is absolute shit - just pure pop music with no twang. I'll stick to the older stuff, back when country was country.

I think I'm gonna end up with the husky since it seems to be recommended a lot more. I appreciate all the input.

Call a dealer, give them the vin, and check to see if your lower ball joints have the recall/have been done.

Also, how;s your timing belt? Due at 90k, and that one is oooooold if original.

710 ESPN AM. All day, everyday. Never owned a CD/Tape/Ipod/Music in my life. Have never spent any $ on music.

If I ever want to listen to Katy Perry, I turn on KIIS 102.7 FM

Thank you, i will do that first thing in the morning. I am guessing the lower ball joints would have been taken care of since the gentleman i bought it from took it to the dealership and had them do a complete inspection. I saw the paperwork and it was 2 weeks ago.

Timing belt tho, i do not believe it was done. I am not very mechanical, how hard is it ? and does the water pump have to replaced as well ?
Thanks again for the heads up

    1. Good, but check anyway if yo udo not have documentation to prove the VIN is affected or not, and the repair done if needed. Extremely dangerous if affected.
    2. If you are not very mechanical, have it done. Approx $500, and yes, water pump too. It is buried under there, so worth it for all the labor.

500$ is not too bad, id rather have someone professional do it since i know if i try, ill mess it up more than likely. Do you recommend the dealership or any good auto shop ?

A good independent shop would likely get you a better price and better work, IMO. Doesn't require any special dealer juju.
