    Honestly, if you just solder in a jumper from 1 side of the connector to the other, it will be a perfectly safe repair. The only time it will be a problem is if Toyota is doing a frame swap on it.

    OME and worth every penny.
    I wonder how much steering shaft is left in the top of the coupler? I'd really try to even it out.

    Here's something that I read on here that I thought was really ingenious. On the steering coupler, take the pinch bolt out and screw it in backwards with a piece of hack saw blade or sawzall blade in the slot. when you tighten up the bolt, it will spread the coupler apart.

    It won't work on steering shafts where the bolt goes in a groove, but on the OPs coupler where the bolt goes across a flat, it should work great.

    May have to try this, I did spray it with PB Blaster. :) Steering feels the same, I don’t feel anything abnormal or anything at all.

    Got it to move maybe about 1/8” more, bitch doesn’t want to move.
