Just got back from the trail...

Went to the uwharries for the afternoon... Actually made it down "Daniel" which is supposed to be the hardest trail. Needed some spotting help from a few guys that were familiar with the trail, they said they haven't ever seen a stock truck make it without tearing something up. I have a 2 in lift and duratracs but no locker and no armor with open diffs...

Who else has done this??? It was quite close a few times and I would not do it again without armor... If I thought I could have backed up and gone out the other way I would have but I got in too deep.

 

I can't wait to get back there. I miss the Carolinas. That looks pretty gnarley but obviously doable.

 

I ran Daniel a few times with no armor, 5100s and 285s....no damage on Daniel, EVER (knocks on wood)

 

Yeah no shit knock on wood. There we a few times I was inches from tearing my shit up. Veeeeery nervous at times.
