I just got my 3in completed on my 03 double cab. I was worried about getting the 1.25in wheel spacers because im not a big fan of the tires sticking out farther than the fender flares but its perfect!!!! they stick out just enough to look really agressive but not to much, im very happy with the overall look of the truck. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for answering questions that I had about this lift throughout the whole process. I will post pics later so you guys can tell me what you think. Thanks again

That looks awesome, I was contemplating whether or not to get spacers but now I will. The stance right now looks too narrow and tippy IMO. Quick question, does the truck feel more stable in corners with the wider stance?

yes. I can def. tell a difference. I sold my 98 ext cab to my brother with a 3 inch lift with no wheel spacers and driving mine then his is a pretty noticeable difference in stability. I thought the 1.25 would make the back look too wide but it just looks really agressive. The 1.25 spacers are the way to go!

yeah Im a big fan of the second gen wheels. I love the style of them, and I have an awesome powder coating guy. I was going to get aftermarket rims but really couldnt find anything in black in a 16 that I was crazy about so I picked up some 09 TRD off-road edition wheels off of craigslist and put my buddy jeff to work and they turned out great!
