So in a "correct" install, the UCA would slot in the space between two coils at full droop?

It should clear the entire coil , no ?

As far as the suspension is concerned, 5100 cranked too high is basically the same as full-droop, right? I don't think the OD of the coil increases that much when compressed.

I wasn't suggesting the coils were fatter , but that as the UCA comes down at that steep of an angle it starts to reduce the available space for the coil

I could be off base with that

No ur right, that coil is way too compressed, reducing travel and making the uca hit the spring. I wouldn't drive another foot with the CV's like that....

    To jordando89:

    1. Set the 5100s to .85.
    2. Then, while the truck is on the lift (suspension in full droop), check the UCA no longer hits the coil. If it still hits the coil, you may have wrong springs installed.

Its kinda hard to tell from the pics, but do you have 3 slots showing on those shocks? If so, you are set @ 2.25.
The angle of that UCA is WAY to steep, and your CV's wont last long at that angle. I would head back to the shop ASAP.

I mean there's a possibility jordando89 may have been shipped wrong Eibachs.

I would definitely drop that down asap. Your CV's and UCA's are at bad angles.

If there's a PN printed on the coil, then compare it against the PN on Toytec's web site. If there's no PN, then it will be easier for you to check for fouling at .85 first (it's relatively easy to adjust the snap ring position).

1st and 2nd gen Eibachs are actually the same PN 892-620 (or 112-620). Anyway, I think the possibility is low for getting the incorrect springs.

Since the dealer installed the spring and shocks, let them set the height to .85 and see what happens. Whether this can be done in-situ without removing the shock assy from the truck, depends on what kind of spring compressor the dealer uses.

Popular sentiment is that a diff drop is ineffective on the second gens
