Well, I took it to Maaco (Oh my gosh not Maaco) But it was a shop about an hour away with almost 4.6/5 Stars so It was way better then the other Maacos near by. It only cost me $2,000 but thats because I got one of the premium paint jobs done which come with a 3-4 year warranty. Not to bad considering what the trucks paint looked like before hand. :anonymous:

Yeah. they told me to give it a month until waxing so it doesn't interfere with the paint I guess? I'm not sure about all that I'm a welder not a painter/vehicle body guy haha.

    Whoa, dang, that looks nice.

Yeah, you're supposed to let the paint "cure" (different from just "drying") before you seal it with wax. I was told the same thing from my body shop after munching the fender on my wife's car.

I have what you'd call a 30 foot paint job. It looks okay from 30 feet away, as long as you have cataracts.... lol The clear coat on my bed is all messed up from when I did my bed liner, and didn't properly re-clear the area where the edge of the bed liner comes over the fender. Oh well, mines a trail truck so I'm trying not to care too much.

+1. Pay mind to any initial instructions they gave like not waxing or sealing 'till all the "sulfates" or whatever vape out of the paint. But then, stay the hell on top of its care keeping it protected-always.

Yeah but he picked a shade of red that's not as agressive-centric to a cop's eye.

    OME and worth every penny.
That's not really 'red' though is it?
Looks more like maroon or burgandy.

edit: It looks nice. Always liked that color, whatever they call it now.

Id say thats more true for red cars, trucks not so much. Just dont speed is my philosophy, and if you do, be on the lookout.

So, you were the only one on a highway, and doing 10 over. And the color of your truck is what got you lit up?
