Just got new stereo.. Have some ????

    Do you have a test light? If not get one or use a multimeter and connect the battery making sure there are no exposed wires that can ground out and cause a short.

    Without turning on the vehicle figure out which wire is hot. It should either be a yellow colored wire or a red colored wire. It's been awhile since I have done any 12V wiring but I believe the correct wire is the yellow one and the red is acc on. Good luck.

    toyotadude... j/w is your dash kit a 1 piece or 2 piece? mine is a 2 piece and i cant ever seem to get it flush on the dash.

    mine is a one piece. also yes the yellow is the constant and the red is ignition/12 volt. The only way for the radio to currently work is the red and yellow form the stereo with the red from the harness. Then i also put the yellow form the harness on there. ( the constant 12 volt from the truck) but still nothing. The stereo works great but resestd itself everytime.

    i got this dashkit at cartunes plus here in flagstaff az. It was 29.95, But i accidently bought one form Amazon for 29 dollars also. It is also a one peice. Obviously i dont need it. I can seell it to you if you like
