Isn't it supposed to have 4 leafs after the TSB? Or are they now doing 3 heavy duty leafs?
Here's what I have after the TSB...

The ride defintely feels more truck-like and the back sits noticeably higher, but I was surprised to see only 3 leafs.

I got my 2011 DC V6 4x4 Auto back from the dealer yesterday for the TSB and I now have 4 leafs per side. Makes me wonder if they did anything at all to your truck.

Did they issue a copy of receipt or work order?

Even if the dealer screwed up and installed a new 3 leaf pack they wouldn't look as worn as yours do. Those are more than likely your original 3 leaf pack. It looks like your dealer is trying to get over on you with the hopes that you don't notice they didn't do a damn thing.

x2, and when you bring it back they will probably say something like "the tech read the tsb wrong and just gave you new shocks"

They may have installed the original pack off of a new truck that they had performed the TSB service on.

Unbelievable! They reinstalled they same f'ing leaf springs (48220-04190 and 48210-04550)! I'm hoping this was an honest mistake, but I don't know whether to laugh, cry or cuss like a sailor. I guess it feels and looks different because they are new?

Unfortunately this isn't the first time that's happened to someone on here.

    Ridiculous.

Yup ... the rear of my truck is noticeably lower than it was just over a year ago.

Sounds like the service advisor didn't read the TSB properly and thought that it just needed a new original pack.

Same thing happened to me and many others on here. Take it back and make them give you a rental to drive while the correct work is being done. My dealership did that for me after I talked to the service manager.

And also make sure they do another alignment after the correct ones are on. Thats one thing I overlooked at the time. Did a couples months after for no cost.

OP, does the work order indicate part #'s for the allegedly new springs or describe what work was completed?

They did the same thing to me I brought it back with the TSB paper work with all the correct part numbers and they took it back to the part room and they agreed that they messed up so they replaced them. Now it rides right.

Yep. They have the 3 leaf springs part numbers listed on the invoice not the 4 leaf springs. They screwed it up from the get go. Ordered the wrong parts and then installed the wrong parts. The funny thing is, when I mentioned the harsh ride and the TSB, they didn't even question me about it or play dumb at all. They knew exactly what to do and still screwed the pooch. Kinda makes me question the quality of their work in general if they pay that little attention to the part numbers.
