I got a question guys. When i put on the one inch lift shackle i used poly bushings and they are a bit squeaky. And i later read on here that if u buy the poly bushings to get greasable shackles to help prevent the squeak from the ploy bushings. So i wanna get just the greasable bolts for the shackle cuz i like the way my truck sits now with the one inch lift shackles. These are the shackle i got http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/1-Rear-ToyTec-Shackle-Lift-Kit-955-04-Tacoma_p_290.html

Anyone able to point me to where i can get just the greasable bolts for them.
Daystar offers just the greasable bolts but idk if they will work cuz they look like the bolts are all the same size when the toytec shackles i bought have a bigger bolt for the bottom

Some of this Some of that
I believe allpro offroad has greasable bolts. I have OME greasable shackles, sometimes you have to loosen the bolts and really work the grease in there. Also the friction pads on the leaf springs can squeak, I'd lube those if you haven't already

go to lowrange offroad, they have them. i have the same shackles with ome bushings. you will just have to drill out the smaller hole to accommodate the 18mm bolts.

Tonto27 thanks i feel better knowing someone else did it with the same setup. Sorry to be a pest though but i got two more questions. See they said 18mm bolt but i thought that was smaller cuz the bolt heads on the ones they come with are larger. They used like a 20mm socket and like a 24mm socket. I guess the socket size in not the actual measurement size.

And my second question was. Does ur lower bushing(the one in the leaf springs) have a metal sleeve. Cuz i only changed the upper bushings with the poly urethane. My lower bushing is still the stock ones.

Now that i think about it i only need a greasable bolt for the upper one cuz thats the one that i used the new poly bushings with it and squeak. The bottom ones dont squeak cuz they are the stock rubber bushings with the metal sleeve

no worries man, glad to help.

18mm is the size of the bolt itself and not the head. the metal sleeve is to accommodate the smaller bolt where the bushing is sized for the 18mm (this is so the bushings are interchangeable as far as i can understand). i would go ahead and order the poly bushings as well. you could probably get away with not changing them but why not change them while everything is apart already.

    parts you'll need
-greaseable bolts (2) 130mm and (2) 150mm. they are a tad long but a little wiggle room isn't a bad thing
    - poly bushings for the spring eyes
    - (4) nuts. the 2 larger ones will still work but i went ahead and got all new ones and keep the other 2 as spares just in case (your call though)
    - step down drill bit/unibit that will got to 3/4" (or whatever they are called) harbor freight ones work just fine.

-drill out the smaller holes on the shackles to 3/4" (make sure to clean out the burs)
    - ditch the metal sleeve thing
    - reassemble
-drink copious amounts of beer :)

hope this helps man. it's easier than you think.

its up to you. i just went ahead and did all 4 because i was going to have it all apart anyways. if you just to the top one they should just slide in and be good to go.

Yeah i was gonna change the bottom ones also until i read that they are a BITCH to change which is why i didnt do them. I read stories of guys cutting, heating, beating, and cussing haha just to get them out. Then they said they also had a hard time getting the new ones in. Which is why i left those alone. And the ones that were in there where still in good condition. But now i know what i need to do. And i just wanted to say thanks again u were a big help
