I hear ya...The Firestone I tale both my cars to did a good job with my scion...and then they managed the Taco after the lift with no issues. I didn't have to ask for anything...they got it aligned and that was that.

    So they have my business!!

Careful, don't bend the tailgate. Then you'll need 2 TSBs done, lol.

Do you feel any sign of out-of-alignment after the TSB? Or more out-of-alignment than it was? :)

technical service bulletin for rear suspension

You'll get 4-leaf springs instead of 3 and an alignment (in my case no alignment) after a lot of hassle if you have an 09. But it improve cargo capacity without sacrificing the ride quality much so I still think it worth the effort.

15% tint over factory all around, U-Haul hitch, Hopkins wiring harness, 2.25" ReadyLift spacer/ AAL kit, 265/70/17's on Gunmetal/Machined Enkeis, JVC head unit w/ Ipod interface, WalMart seat covers, hoseclamp mod, seatbelt beep mod, bedrail bike mounts, 6 D-rings in bed, Pop N Lock
Nice! I don't have to worry about haggling with the dealer now, fortunately...just got a readylift installed today that I was told was spacers front and rear....and was quoted 3 hrs labor....turns out the install co. hadn't done a 3" lift on a 5-lug yet......the kit actually had leaf springs rear and took them.....ready for this? 7 hrs w/ 2 guys to install!!

they only charged me the quoted price and my truck can now handle the full capacity, and sits right where I want (I also added 265/65/17's)

It feels just as much out of alignment after the TSB as it did before. So no real gain/loss. I just know it's a touch out. Funny thing is I think it rides better now than before. I think that's b/c the 3 leafs were to soft causing a lot of body motion and making the ride feel rough or as if I was driving to aggressive. Much better now.

Thanks man. :) You know it could be that the factory alginment is intially set for new 3-leaf springs. And over time the soft leafs sag and caused more change of riding height. The new TSB leafs can perhaps bring things closer to the factory condition. In my case TSB was done at less than 1000 miles so not much comparison there.

Just got my '09 back from the dealership after they completed the Leaf String TSB. New rear four (4) leaf springs and new rear shocks.

About 1" of lift and it appears that the load capability is greater.
