    As much as most of us like the idea of Uber off-road builds, the reality is that a 4x4 sport with Michelin LTX defenders or other innocuous all season tire will suffice for 95% of users.

    There really is a huge leap from “driving off-road” and “off-roading.” The difference is the reason that most people use a dedicated trail rig. For everyone else, it’s mostly just for looks.

    I think it’s important to build exactly what YOU want, for any reason that YOU want. We live in a country that allows us (mostly) to do that. Builds on a daily driver are cool for sure, but impractical for the other 99% of driving that most of us do. But if you want to build it, then build it!
