Interesting... Any more info on this? I hate how my truck shifts out of overdrive so quickly when going up a small hill.

Yep look into FSM for A750 Manual shifting test. I know I saw it there. I dont think you can switch it on the fly so once in manual mode it will stay in manual mode until you reconnect cable.

Workman......does not keep jumper cables in his ride. He will retain his man card though, cause he is a bad ass.

I still stand by my "common sense" comment. Why not have the option to help yourself if the situation ever arises?

Workman agrees that Jumper cables are a good idea. Lots of places out here where Workman goes you might not see anyone for weeks. Would be nice in a parking lot though or just to lend a helping hand.

Workman gets paid to hike, and is always prepared to hike out with plenty of water, food, shelter and .357mag with a box of 50 rounds.

OZ would suggest a jump pack however dhk , er I mean Knucklehead claims BCAA knows nothing and they won't start a dead vehicle

zombie runner says that the jump packs work fine as long as they have a good charge and are not left in the truck and neglected.

Brake pads do need to be replaced much more often I think with an auto. I think in general in the long run an auto will require more maintenance $$$$'s.

Question - with the auto, if you put it into the 2 or 3 position, do you start out in 2nd or 3rd gear, or do you still start out in 1st gear?
