So I just installed the above mentioned intake on my Tacoma yesterday. I like that the supercharger is much louder now. I ran it this morning and did a couple 2nd and 3rd gear pulls, But I noticed something strange (well a few strange things).

It was 56F outside this morning and I seem to be running more rich than before according to my gauge, which is fine by me really. I plan on switching to a 2.825 pulley in a few months. Also When I was at peak boost I was reading at 7psi! I never see above 6.1-6.2 in the summer (55F-70F) unless its near freezing out. Usually at 7psi when its 30F out and 8psi when its -20F. Anyone else have an opinion on this?

But yeah, I'm not complaining, just curious. So far I like the new noise and what feels like peppier throttle response. The butt dyno doesn't really notice anything but whatever. Wasn't really expecting anything either.

Well if it stays at that psi regularly, then it isn't because of some weather anomaly D.A. change. It definitely breathes easier. Which is less restriction from a laminar flow point.

Yeah, that's what I figured, but I didn't want to come on here spouting some BS. Intakes have a lot of mixed reviews on this site, which is understandable. They all act differently under different circumstances. Its kind of cool to see an indicated 0.8 psi bump from it though. Not sure if I gained anything from it or not power wise. Either way the 2.825 URD pulley is going to find its way into the mix in about 2 months based on mileage estimates. Hopefully ill be able to feel a power bump from it then.

Did you reset your ECU after installing the intake? It may have to re-learn things using the sensors after making a change like that.

You guys think that the intake and 2.82 pulley will need to be programmed again after the original TRD programming that Toyota does? What about the 2.85?
