Which menus get you to "calibrate new tires"?

    Apps-Navigation-Detailed Navi. Settings-Calibration. The Entune/Navigation manual says

"If this procedure is not performed when
the tires are replaced, the current position
    mark may be incorrectly displayed."

So, like you said it's just a NAV recalibrate...
How does changing tires affect the NAV?

I'm guessing it's not constantly polling for GPS location. Could be possible that it's detecting initial location via GPS and then internally calculating location with the distance it thinks it has traveled. Seems to be about the only way the location would be affected by tire size.

    OK. Page 251.
    That makes since.
I thought it was all in the SD.
You think it's a tire wear/mileage-based formula, based on stock tire circumference?
I could see it working for a larger tire if part of the calibrate process was driving...
The tech in this thing versus my 2007 is crazy.

So, if a speedo is off due to tire size, how does that get corrected?

Used the calibration button and nothing has changed. Still 4% off on speedo and odo. @matt33 is your digital speedo off from your analog one? I only really notice it at 70 mph. The digital will say 70 and the analog will read 68-69. Have you noticed this at highway speeds ?

The speedo's seemed sync'd up at 60 MPH; I haven't noticed any issues, but I'll check at higher speeds and report back in the coming days.

Love the look of these tires. Does the tacoma typically need re-alignment when moving up to the 265/75?

I haven't gotten my alignment done since swapping to the 265/75 ko2 tires and there doesn't seem to be any pulling or drifting. I did go in to get the lifetime alignment from firestone and they told me they didn't have the specs for the 2016 yet.

Just out of curiosity why didn't you go with the OEM size in the KO2's?

The oem size is like $50 more per tire, plus you gain an extra inch with these.

Yeah, I was quoted $1050 out the door for 4 265/70R16 from Costco, which is about $200 more than the 265/75R16. I guess I was worried about the calibration issues and whether an extra inch would make that much difference in the look. BTW I love the look on your new truck. I was also worried that if you installed tires larger than OEM if it would affect your warranty.

My speedo/odo is 4% off. Not a big deal.
