I stayed with the stock size BFG KO 265-70-16. This is the original KO not the KO2. I kind of prefer this look a little more than the KO2.image.jpg

Nice! A straight side shot would be appreciated. I love those wheels.

These TRD Pro wheels are 17" IIRC, are you running 265/70/17's or the 265/65/17 size used on the TRD Sport?

These are 265/70/R17's. I have to say the ride is smooth and they are very quiet. Small harmonic at 45 mph - 52 mph. Not bad. I'll post a side shot. Thanks for the comments!

Here's a better side shot of the 265/70/R17 KO2's with TRD Rims.

Here's what the old tires and rims looked like.

Looks great! Curious how you worked that transaction. Did you buy the BFG's and take them to the dealer for install with their TRD wheels? Did the dealer do an alignment? Also, wondering if the transmission is doing much searching with the larger tire diameter. Appreciate your posts, thanks.

To SSG365, I just got a quote from my local Discount for 265/70/17 C-rated KO2s, as a recommended alternative to E-rated, "to ride better - don't need E-rated on such a light truck".
Just for what its worth ...

I was going to ask if Arcrider got the C or E rated tires. In the 265/70/17 you have that option. Maybe because it's used on SUVs? The 265/70/16 and 265/75/16 are not available in C rated if I remember correctly.

I would think the E-rated tires would have better durability and resistance to damage when aired down off-road, but is it enough to matter? Folks that have the E-rated tires have said they are noticeably stiffer than the stock tires, but everyone has said it's not a big deal and they are fine with it. I think Arcrider got his put on before he got the truck, so he can't compare.

How do these ride compared to stock. And how many miles are y'all expecting to get from them?

They look great but I drive about 50k miles a year and a lot of highway for work and am wondering if I could get away with them.

If you do not mind can you expand on how u requested to get the wheels/tires for the dealer to instal?
What's it just like you asking for the wheels/tires ? They include the price in the total amount?
I assume the install takes place at the dealer and not when the truck is being built?

My taco is supposed to be arriving some time this week and would love to do something like ur set up.
    Sweet truck

Just got in from a business trip. I got the rims as I was picking out accessories before the truck came in. When the truck came in they said that the stock tires wouldn't fit. So I bought them at the dealer for a discount because they made a mistake. When I picked up my truck, they were mounted. I paid cash for the wheels and tires.

    I'm running the BFG KO2 265/75/16.

200 miles on them and they are a pretty smooth ride. So far I would recommend them.

How much did your dealer charge you if you dont mind? I asked for just the wheels and they said almost 1200$.

That's pretty Steep. I got the wheels for 700 and the KO2's for 945. So 1645 total. That's taxes (9% in Wa) and balancing and install. I also kept my old rims and tires. Probably could have spent a couple days for an extra hundred, but I did really well on the trade and the truck price so I'm really happy about it.
