No lift at all, hard to believe. Drove it on some forest service roads today, pretty muddy due to the rain, no issues. It's a tight truck.

    Arcider,

Were you able to use your original TPMS sensors on your new TRD pro wheels?

    Thanks,

    Joe

    Great looking truck BTW.

I'll continue to ride on these Goodyear's for a while, but when I get new I'm between the KO2 or the KM2. Also if I don't lift my truck can I still go up a little in tire size? Any help would be great. This is my first Tacoma. I had a couple of Jeep Cherokee XJ builds so have a basic understanding of how this stuff works, just not a Tacoma braniac yet.

I have 17" Black TRD Pro wheels on the way and placed my order for BFG A/T KO2's in 265/70/17 for my '16 4x4 Off Road. Now I need to find a set of reasonably priced TPMS since I don't want to pull them from my original wheels.

OP here. With the same tires, I'm getting anywhere from 17 to 21 depending on terrain. I average around 18.

I've only had the truck for a few hours with the KO2s and city was saying 13-15...ouch.

It will come up once you get out of the city. Mine seems to peak out on 55 MPH two lane highways around here.

OP any issues with the KO2's are higher speeds? I get vibrations over 55mph. Took it to rebalance at America's tire with no luck.

    No.

I don't drive super fast, but I've had zero vibrations up to 85 MPH (I haven't gone faster). I'd take the truck back to the tire shop and make them re-balance or replace the tire that won't balance.

Hey Matt, its been a couple months now with the E rated tires. Whats the verdict? Are you glad you have them. Or do you think it would be better to have pickup up some trd rims with the 265/70/r17 load C BFG'S.

They are great. I live on a 2.5 mile hilly dirt road and beyond that, we like to travel many miles back on state forest roads in north central PA in areas where there is no cell service (includes multiple large creek crossings). I feel a lot more comfortable with a solid OR tire like the BFG KO2's.

I only had the original tires on for less than 100 miles, so I don't really remember them.

All you fellers up-sizing to the 265/75-16 from the 70 series; all the rigs I see are WITHOUT mud flaps. Anyone with mud flaps experiencing rubbing with the 75s?
For my first set I'm staying with the 70s.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but how have the tires held up? Also, did you switch your spare over to the KO2, and if so, does it fit under the truck?
