    MBRP. Full length cat-back.
Will butt-dyno and do full tank mpg review soon.

First of all, congrats on the 42 years so far! Hoping for many more happy years to come.

I initially thought about spending extra for a Borla or Magnaflow, and will also probably do so sometime next year. The MBRP is kind of a "test run" with the cat backs to see how performance is affected. This exhaust material is susceptible to rust, so I don't figure it will last for too long with the wet PNW weather.

I installed this last night, and the sound is definitely more throaty with a deep bass. As I've also noticed (driving this morning to work), that with ECT engaged, the sound is a bit louder, and the acceleration response is much improved compared to just the CAI alone. Time will tell if mpg's will be improved, and I'll be cycling a few full tanks of gas to empty to find out (will try to keep driving conditions as similar as possible between each tank).

I currently don't have too much additional weight like yours, so I probably won't feel any negative effects on the low end as much as you do, but I'll definitely still try to keep track.

got the aluminized one. (expecting it to rust eventually).

This is definitely a more aggressive exhaust. It will have a deep throaty drone, but it's not obnoxious to me.
It's full of bass and sounds great, even when loud, so I like it so far for me.

Think I'm going to try it out but in stainless can't beat the price compared to others

Now that you've had the MBRP a few months, what do you think of it?

I love it! Still sounds really good. my only concern was the rust issue, but I sprayed it with some Fluid Film, so it should last a bit longer.

OP now that you have had the exhaust and intake a while what do your mpg numbers look like? Any solid gain from adding a intake and exhaust? Any troubles a few months down the road?

Just ordered my TRD CAI on Ebay tonight, not a bad price, came just under $400 USD shipped to Canada, Tax in.
Any fuel mileage gains and improved throttle response after installing yours?
Truck still under warranty and no OV Tune for 2021 so I'm also doing the pedal commander..
