    Pretty much stock
My metra DD kit fits perfect, the hazard button is a little tight, headunit sits in perfect though. I did reuse the metal brackets from the oem radio, instead of the plastic supplied ones.

Just reading through this thread you get a really good idea of who makes the better kit... Majority with the scosche has no fitment issues nor has any problems as I do...

On the other hand Majority with the metra has tweaked, changed, sanded, or pulled a corner to make it work. IMO METRA is trash because of this! I am not speakind for everyone but I have an extreame attention for detail and I could handle color not 100% but what I am seeing! Sorry no way!

Ordered the Scosche last night will be returning the metra to car toys today!

I have the Scosche kit on a DD Pioneer deck. It's a perfect fit in my truck, however you give up the texture that comes on the stock deck/metra kit. Atleast I dont think that Scosche has the texture on their kits.

Feel free to PM me if you have questions

He's got a pioneer deck. Different company means that the sizes on the DD might be just slightly different. Not to mention the inserts that surround the deck to fill the gaps...

For yours, it could be the dimensions on your head unit, the dash kit might be warped... or maybe even both.

My .02... try a Scosche dash kit. If it doesn't fit, well... then you're out ~$30

I work at best buy in the car audio department. Whenever I have the choice I use Schosche over Metra. I just ordered a Schosche dd kit for my 2010 here is the sku #7477376. I'll post pics when I get all the parts delivered and installed.

Exactly. Metra is too generic for my liking... I've used Scosche for everything from my dash kit to my iPod case. It's just an all around better made product IMO. I don't wanna go to my truck to take pics though OP, too lazy. haha, but it IS a flawless fit into my '07.

I used a Metra kit for my Alpine installation. I've seen pics of my stereo installed and it looked perfect, but they used a Scosche kit. I'm going to eat the 30 bucks and try out a Scosche.

I purchased both the Metra and the Scoche at the same time and installed them both to see which I preferred. The Metra looked MUCH better in my opinion. The smoothness and lack of color accuracy of the scoche made it look so incredibly obvious in regards to being aftermarket. The metra looked far more natural.

That being said...neither of the two were are perfect fit. The Metra for me was the lesser of two evils...but at least it somewhat looks fitting.

    ymmv.

Drill new holes in your factory bracket to get the Unit to fit futher back. Then use a trim kit to put a backing on the gap you will create (this came with my Kenwood). Yes, the hazzard button takes tweaking on the left side to fit correctly.

I used a scosche DD and my Pioneer came with a little bracket to adjust for any size difference. Fits great.
