All good! Straight stainless look would be the clear. Personally if you arent looking for a specific color, I would go with Carbon, or Clear. My favorite is Carbon. Clear is the same protective covering(just clear) over the standard stainless lines.

I can totally see how that would be confusing given my initial post, sorry about that. I am not selling rotors or pads as you can get those via powerstop for much cheaper than I could ever hop to offer them. My link is for the front and rear brake lines and clips only. :)

I am looking forward to seeing how these powerstop pads hold up over the next couple years. Pads are cheap so if they dont work out, I cant always go back to OEM pads.

What are the lengths of the front lines you are offering? The factory lines are 11" and most places that sell factory replacement stainless braided lines are usually 1" longer (which works perfect for my application). I tried running longer lines, but they hit the bump stop mount and rub through the protective coating on the lines.

If you are not interested in selling the lines separately (front or rear at least), what fittings do you use? I would order some lines directly from HEL, but I am not sure what our fittings are.

Hey Nick, I matched OEM spec 1:1 of the OEM length lines, as I don't like carrying things that say they are OEM only to be slightly different. Regarding the fittings, they are the Toyota OE clip style. So the exact same kind that are on the OE rubber lines.

Ok, that's good, the OEM length is 11". But how much longer are your extended and super extended length over stock?

Also regarding the fittings, on HEL's website, which fittings did you choose? I am assuming the swivel circlip female extended barrel (which have M10x1.00 threads with a convex seat)?

I will need to doublecheck with my HEL contact here in the US to confirm the fitting but they are M10x1.00 to mate with the OE hard lines. They speced it to match the toyota fitting 1:1. Regarding lengths
    • OE Front - 11in (from end of fitting to end of fitting line is 12")
    • OE Rear -20in
    • Ext Front - 16.75in
    • Ext Rear - 24in
    • Ultra Ext Front - 20in
    • Ultra Ext Rear - 29in

No problem happy to help! In fact I should add these lengths to my site anyways. Thanks for asking.

Not a fan at all of drilled rotors, have seen them crack on friends cars during racing. I go with either slotted or smooth face because of that

Racing vs daily driving a truck on the road are def different use cases for sure. Racing puts insane amounts of stress and heat on the brakes. Many OEM's sell vehicles with drilled rotors straight from factory. Totally down to your risk tolerance but in my opinion its an apples to oranges comparison.

All this excitement and you have the same stopping distance as before. That is awesome! Well except for the cool looking rotors and the sweet gold lines.

My goal with the rotors and pads was to increase stopping force while towing. To that end I have achieved my goal. :)

If you are towing, that makes sense. The slotted and drilled rotors will help out immensely with heat dissipation. Sadly most people think that putting big name brakes on their truck will magically reduce their stopping distance.

Orange actually isn’t a super common order color for us. Even my Classic Mini lines i might have only sold one pair of orange lines in the last 4 years. It’s a super unique look though. I love them and wish more people got them! You could be the first one!
