I bought the $33 crees and one of the mounts was incorrectly manufactured so it wouldn't twist in... Returned and just bought the same as headlights.

Hi as I'm not knowledge on using the dielectric grease, I'm also awaiting on delivery of my opti 7's, would you mind explaining to me what areas I should be putting the grease on, and why this is a good product. Thank you in advance for answering my questions.

So the grease seals out any contaminants like water which can cause a short circuit and fry your equipment.

In this picture, you'd want to apply it on the leading edge of the blue rubber piece.

By applying it to the male end of the connection, you avoid the issue of having the grease fall into the connector and insulate the electrical connection.

Thanks, that's very clear. I appreciate the explanation and picture of the connector, it's very helpful. Thanks again

I am finally home and installed these today and took my wife to Williamsburg tonight and the light output is amazing and I am extremely happy with these lights. So glad I got these and thank you to the OP for posting these up.

Got some of these. I'm loving the high-beams and low-beams.

But the fogs leak WAY too much light up to be useful with fluxbeams. I might have to return them and downgrade to the CREE, unless there's a way to adjust the aim of the fogs... Until I figure that out, they may as well just be high-beams. :(

Some comparisons to the stock lights:

    Lows Comparison:

    Highs Comparison:

    Lows plus Fogs Comparison:

    Fogs plus Parking Comparison:

Not shown is that the LEDs in the fogs, just to either side of the garage fully light up everything within a 180 degree radius. Useful for some stuff, but not as driving/fog lamps...

Screenshot_20160701-202310.jpg anyone use these yet. It uses a heat sink instead of a fan so less moving parts.
