I got these installed last night and I got to use them for the first time on the road today, since it was raining out. I parked in front of a glass building and I noticed something up with the headlights. It almost has a "snake eye" effect? Im assuming this is due to the the way the bulb is made. Is anyone else getting this? Any way to fix this?

The only way to capture it on camera was to dim it down.

not surprising. your camera is metering for the bright light and it drops the exposure enough that you are able to see the light output from each led on each side of the bulb individually. since the bulbs have an LED on each side and install is set so they are on the right and left this is 100% normal to see from the camera where it exposes so you can see it that way. the human eye wouldnt be able to see this normally

oh, yeah I intentionally dimmed it down so I could capture what I can see with my eyes. Ive been going back a few pages to see others and I can see theirs is doing the "snake eye" effect as well. I guess its inevitable.

    OPT7,
After checking the connections, I found it had gotten some moisture and created some corrosion. A little cleaning and sealing, works like new again.

Also, I haven't read the whole thread, but has anyone had any issues with mud/ muddy water getting in and clogging up the fan on the fog lights?

I'm really wanting to go with the same setup as yours, but only reason im on the fence is I don't want to blind incoming traffic, but from what it sounds like they don't seem to do that as much as many bright leds I've seen on the road.
Think you got me sold OP!

@Pinche_tacos they look good! I've been looking at those for a while and waiting for someone on here to post something about them! How's the coverage and pattern? Do you mind posting night pics?? Waiting to pull the trigger on them.

Yes the "correct" cable would plug into the factory harness. The one pictured is incorrect cable.

Yes, they are plug and play. Don't order the fog kit and you don't have to worry about where the pins go. Just order the regular headlight kit (H11) for the fogs, highs & lows. They are all the same size.

I don't have any night pics currently but I can tell you now to go order them and you won't regret. Especially with the yellow fogs, it lights the road up amazing! And road signs and anything reflective is way more visible with the fogs on! I'll get some pics ronigh
