Anyone know if they have a h9? Or should a just use the h11? I was just wondering because I wanted something brighter for the high beams.

I have the OPT7 FluxBeam LED kit in my headlights and fogs. Great kit but I DO NOT recommend these for the fogs - the light output is way too wide and bright. 100% chance of being an asshole.

Here's a pic my girlfriend took while I was driving on the highway. She didn't even know I changed the lights in my truck from the factory, but took the picture because she noticed how bright they are...You can clearly see how the fog light beam is soaring accoss the entire freeway and you can't even see the other cars headlights. Not cool.

What does everyone recommend for fogs that aren't blinding to other drivers?

I took a picture of the Opt7 fluxbeams and I'm positive it's not blinding anyone based on the light pattern.

But people seem to have differing results.

@JoeCOVA, Your beam pattern was a shot really close up, would you pull back 15 feet and turn on just the fogs and take another picture? I'm not confident your cutoff is keeping the fogs below the headlights to keep from blinding drivers.

I'll try to do it tonight but you can see the similarities between both the stock light and the LED light. The gap between the head light and fog light cutoff is the same distance, the difference is that the LED light band is wider toward the ground. I don't have an empty wall so I'll have to try and get it against the garage door.

Its a stretch though to think that they would be any higher than the low beams, if the low beams aren't blinding people then why would the fogs, especially based on the pattern provided. If there was a significant pattern difference from stock then I would agree but it's not. You pretty much have to be looking straight into them to be "blinded" and they definitely don't point up into the air.

No BRO-ness to speak of... Well, except Kbro2's
I had the same problem with the flickering and burnout after about 7 months with one of my four bulbs (i run the same bulb in all four locations... let the "oh my god you're blinding people" :crapstorm: begin). I contacted the seller for a replacement and they were very helpful. They asked me to perform a swap of the bad bulb to a different driver so we would know if it was the bulb or driver that was bad. I moved the bulb over and it came on when plugged in to the driver of a working bulb. I thought "Well, problem solved... Must be the driver". Well, when i moved everything back to the original location... they ALL came back on. That was 3 months ago and i haven't had the slightest flicker our outage since. I know it wasn't a loose connection because i checked them all first. So now i am just monitoring it... still have 13 months warranty left. Great products and very pleased with my purchase.

My fan seems really loud. I hear it outside and especially inside the cabin. Is that normal??

I can hear all 4 of my fans running but only when the truck is off and I have the lights on. with the truck on I dont hear anything. Been using them for about 4-5months now. I dont have the Opt7 lights. I have the exact same lights though they just dont have fancy red paint and a name bu cost alot less.

There's no way you hear those dinky fans in the cabin. It's something else. I barely hear them when the truck is off and lights on standing next to them.

I can hear the fans going when I pull into my garage at night, and turn off the engine... But then again, that's an enclosed space. Doesn't bother me though, just reminds me my headlights are more bad ass than most.

Just tried to install the H11s into low beam spot and can't get them to turn on. What gives? Neither one functions.

    Am I missing something obvious?

I had to use the polarity adapters (or whatever it was called) and then they worked fine.

I got them to work. I finally noticed that the connectors weren't getting past the gasket on the connectors. A bit of muscle and I was able to make them connect properly.

Hmm maybe I need to retry without the adapters. You didn't use them?

No I didn't. Maybe I should have but with some muscle I was able to get the connector to seat properly.
