Those are what I have, a bit pricey but definitely improved seat position for me (I'm 6'2").

Yea, every so often they run discount codes but you gotta catch it.

Those only work for the rear mounts, the fronts require a more custom spacer because of how they are mounted to the body.

i would urge caution against modifying anything to do with your safety system. Toyota engineers went through a hell of a lot to achieve their safety and crash ratings. Adding a variable like this that hasnt been tested, especially to the driver's seat, may yield unintended consequences during an accident and expose you to liability

That might happen, but do you have any examples? The Taco in your avatar has larger rims and tires. My tires are larger than stock. That definitely affects one's braking, stopping, maneuverability and will have an affect during an accident. I don't think there is a true concern for extra liability over wheels and tires. I have heard from an insurance agent that if you went extreme, like 40" tires and a 12" lift on a Taco that would be reflected in your insurance rates. I don't think seat jackers rises to that level.

That’s everyone’s first reaction cost. You are getting a well engineered product that’s made in America, not a drilled piece of bar stock.

we're talking risk management here of course. And its funny you mentioned tire/wheel combo, because i absolutely did take that into account when choosing a light-weight wheel and a p-rated tire to minimize the impact on braking, acceleration, handling, fuel econ, etc. So my truck may take longer to stop, although perhaps not with the larger contact patch. As far as assessing the risk of that, its within what i view as acceptable tolerance.

I would encourage that same mindset be taken when modifying anything on the vehicle, especially how one's driver's seat attaches to the truck. The risk to catastrophic failure during a major accident is there.

Choosing a different tire/wheel package that might increase stopping distance by a few feet is one set of risks. Choosing to modify how your driver seat attaches to your vehicle is another.

we can go back and forth on this all day. I stopped riding motorcycles when i had a family too. lol

I’m 6 foot and have been considering these. What is it that you felt changed after installing?

I like a slightly reclined seat position and some support under my legs, this gave me that (they raise the front of the seat about 1.5 in).

I know, I'm gonna get called out & catch hell for saying this, but there are much cheaper options out there If you're on a tight budget. Just takes a tiny bit of looking and you can get them for about a 1/3-1/2 the cost. Yeah they might be made in China or God only knows where but again for those of us on a budget we have to do what we have to do....
So if anyone else is looking for cheap ones and can't find them let me know And I could send you a link To the ones I found.
