Just run down to lowes and buy a handful of fender washers and some longer bolts.

The seats are already flat. I can see sliding out with spacers installed in the back. The front made a huge difference.

Friction? I don’t notice any change. I did adjust the steering wheel since my knees sit a tad higher then before.

For me yes, I've got big legs. It tilts the seat back.

The ones that the guy posted from eBay just up above here. There are $37 dollars yeah it's gonna take a month and a 1/2 or so to get here but.... Like I said a heck of a lot cheaper than buying one set here... Some of us just have to do what we have to do....
I put them on my watchlist and then got offered a few dolars off and that's when I bought them.

I did the rears as well, and made my 2014 very comfortable for longer road trips, whereas before, my lower back would start aching after a few hours of driving.

Weird thing though, the gf did not like them at all and said it was much more comfortable without. Unfortunately I tossed my old bolts so now I either need to source a new OEM set of bolts or buy the front spacers for her. Might be because she's like 5'3" though

You want to talk about catastrophic failure just have a wreck in one of these Tacoma's and find out what catastrophic failures all about. As much as I Like Toyota's, these Tacoma's leaving lot to be desired. Their frames are literally half the thickness of what they used to use in the older vehicles.. And then factor in the fact that they see channeled the back end of the vehicle to save weight. They try to claim it's to help the ruin of the vehicle flex but we all know differently. It's to save money and save weight so they can try to gain the MPG Rating.....
Every time I've seen one of these even in a small accident involving the rear end the entire axle is twisted out from underneath of the vehicle. Bid every time I've seen 1 of these that's been ruined even in a parking lot at slow mile per hour like 5 to 10 miles an hour the frame is bent. I've seen some that rolled over and the g****** frame Bend's!!!! Again I'm not here to bash on toyotas because I like them them. But these Tacoma's Really leave a lot to be desired from someone who had several older Toyotas....

This picture is from my 1989 Toyota forerunner that was involved in a 55 mile an hour collision With a parked car. The only damage to the frame at all was the was The cross suport between the bumper.. Other than that it was perfectly fine.
I can give you a 100% guarantee that no Tacoma is going to survive that kind of a collision. This thing literally chewed up And swallowed the other car. I'm not joking literally 50% of the other car was crushed And the 2 cars were married together. They had to use 2 toe trucks to pull them apart. When I got it back there was still a 40 pound chunk of steel attached to my front tow hooks.

Before anyone asks no I was not on my phone, no I was not drunk, no I did not fall asleep. The lady put her car in park over the top of a blind hill right in the middle of the road. There was <3 seconds to try to react at 55 miles an hour. I hit the brakes less than 1' before I impacted her vehicle...

And believe it or not I had 1" seat risers on this vehicle as well. No damage to them whatsoever.

Permanent injury to my neck. I have chronic headaches now from it And numbless with tingling down my left.....
My daughter was in the vehicle with me and she was black-and-blue from the 5 point harness she was wearing across her shoulders stomach and her crotch.. She had to have years worth of therapy because she was scared to even ride in a car again.

Needless to say I'll never drive one of those small popcad91. Vn cars again.Neither my wife or myself will drive anything that does not have a solid steel frame......

Installed my risers in the back of the front seat and definitely notice a difference. I’ve a 6 hour drive next week so I’ll update afterwards.
