    Yep. Every new muffler I've ever had has done this. Some are worse than others. My Flowmaster 44 on my current 2020 was the smelliest I think I've ever had. It can linger for a little while. Getting it nice and warm for an extended period of time is usually when it will go away for good.

    YotaWerx Tune; TRD PRO catback exhaust; Off-Road Decals Delete
    We just installed the TRD Pro exhaust - same experience here with the odor. Makes sense that the oils are burning off. Forum is a great resource. My wife has a 2020 TRD OR Cement, without the YotaWerx Tune and the Pro exhaust. Her Taco is a completely different driving experience. Highly recommend the tune and Pro exhaust.
