Just joined from Florida

Just got my Tacoma last week, I had an Ford SUV (Edge) more recently, but before that I had a Ranger for 20+ years. I was looking for a mid-size truck with a longer bed (5 ft bed seemed short to me) but didn't really need the passenger cab. I looked at Frontiers and another Ford, but went with the Tacoma. I installed a roll up tonneau cover, but otherwise not planning on doing any modifications, but they are neat to see on the forum, and I have enjoyed reading about what other folks have done. I didn't really care about color, but it has definitely grown on me so far.

Welcome just curious, and you might get this a lot but, did the color choice have any effect on price ?

 

I didn't really know it was a non-standard color to be honest, I didn't care about color, I just wanted a longer bed (I actually wanted an access cab, too) and this was the only long bed they had (it was coming in the next day). I was looking at Frontiers and Rangers as well but ultimately decided on Tacoma. I paid below MSRP but not sure if I got a deal. I did talk them down a little saying that if I ever wanted to resell that the color might have a limited interest. I think it's a great color, though.
