Just joined - Looking to get info on my second 1st gen

Just joined and have noticed going to sites like eBay and JcWhitney, or even Amazon, those may not be the best places for accessories and parts.

My first Tacoma was a 04 pre runner double cab TRD that was totaled sitting in front of my house by a teenager texting while driving. My second was a 2005 pre runner TRD Sport which I sold to help pay for my daughter's wedding. I am excited about going back to the first gen truck, which I prefer better than the second gen for my personal use. And this time I shopped around and got a low mileage 4x4. Well, low mileage for 03 anyway.

I have some ideas on what I want to do with it, but we will see how far that goes.

Those aren't the best sites for big mods, just small ones.

 

Well, I am sure that folks sell and trade items on here that will be good too. I hope.... I have also been looking on craigslist. Never know about that, but I have had good luck buying and selling things on there before.

 

I would recommend Underdog Racing,URD and all pro off-road.Both have great stuff.

 

lol kidding on the my truck is built from those site, but yes depending on what you need for example suspension, any vendor on here will give you the correct spec for your needs. now for like accessories like led strips, switches and stuff can be bought off of Amazon or ebay to create your own. If you want to spend a lot for a pre-built then there are vendors on here that does that too.
