wow, this has to be the most active forum I've ever been in. Thank you all for the warm welcomes, a couple of you asked what the plans for the truck are, and before i go ahead I know everyone says its cheaper and easier just to sell and buy a 4x4 but this truck was free to me so...

    wish list:
    2uzfe
    4x4 swap
custom ceiling mounted CB, GPS, Altimeter, climb angle readout
big brake upgrade - not sure whats out there
33in tires with minimal lift if factory lift isn't enough - don't know what tires I want
    front and rear lockers
    auto tire inflation system
custom rear tube over bed that extends over the roof
bed box set up for skeet shooting
    ARB bumpers f and r
light pods in bumpers as well as ARB circular LED front of grill and on roof rack
2 1000W sundown audio 8in (if you haven't heard these, they sound and feel like 12's) subs with equivalent quality highs and mids
fresh under coating on the full frame
    snorkel
tucked exhaust with turned down tips
    equal length headers
suspension strengthening upgrades (i have not done much research yet, not sure what i want) but I'm not looking to lift it or get a crazy amount of flex, this will still be somewhat of a daily duty type truck. also, i live in florida rock crawling won't really be something I'm doing. I mostly like riding down dirt trails with some mud and finding difficult spots to camp in. Most difficult trail I've ever done was some trail in Helen Georgia in a mitsubishi montero and that was perfect for me.
