Thanks. Yeah I bought it from T-A-C-O Tunes. I can’t spell out their name or the post will asterisk the name of the company in my reply. It’s a weird thing with them. Anyway, I do like their amp plate. I like the way it interfaces with the tacoma, and it’s well made. The only downside potential is that it’s not huge, so for my install I had to add a small plate to extend it.

wow, it looks nice, but for $120, i can buy a lot of steel plate, cutoff wheels, and spray paint for that! if it was $40-60, it'd be a no-brainer. but especially if it needs alterations for any amp option beyond tacotoons house-brand amps.

Wow, yeah that’s too much. I paid 80 and I struggled with that for the same reasons.

Although I have no idea WTF anyone is talking about regarding this thread, I find it quite interesting.
Pretty happy with the stock noise maker in my 2021 and it sounds great to me - but then my last Toyota PU was a 1990 with a factory cassette and a blown speaker so it's all good.
Also was reading about the XM option. When they called me right before the trial was up, I told the nice lady - 'Hey darlin it's just too expensive for me'...she said 'Well what sounds fair?' I said 'I could go $5 a month'. Deal - so I went ahead and got it for 2 years.
Out here in Bumfuk where I live if you don't have this XM thing it's all soybean reports and screamin' preachers...best $5 a month I've ever spent.
