I just moved to Oahu and my truck will be here in about a week, hella excited. Im wondering if there is any Truck meets soon, and if there is a cheaper route buying new tires and wheels out here. 4wheelparts priced me at a pretty penny when I went down there. One more thing, Where can I go to get my 0% tint "Waived" ?IMG_3778.jpg

It seems like there's a huge Tacoma scene in Hawaii. I've shipped more products there, than I have to my own state of NY.

Are there places where you can wheel there?

My wife and I have been lucky enough to vacation on Maui a few times and lifted Tacomas definitely dominate among choice of vehicles for the locals. Also saw a handful of Xrunners while I never see them here in CO

Sounds like paradise........oh wait......technically it is.

How does one facilitate a move out there? What does the OP do for a living that puts him in paradise?

^this. I've heard jobs are a bit scarce and it's rather expensive to live out there as tourism/the fact it's in the middle of nowhere bumps the prices up.

You must have to find the right career out there. I follow a bunch of Hawaii Taco guys on Instagram, and they seem to have TONS of cash for modding their trucks. They do some insane builds.

    Maybe a bit off topic.

Get a Costco membership. Food prices there are way cheaper than the grocery stores on the islands.

One of the things that's cheaper in Hawaii is Hard Liquor.

Congrats on your move to one of the neatest places on earth.
