I "bonded" with a 3-on-the-tree GMC pickup when I was 16. My dad put me through it. I didn't realize until later that I had mastered one of the finicky-ist manual transmissions. The manual Taco isn't nearly as picky.

    Whiny manual drivers.

Isn't that what happens to most everything!!! They start out nice and then when they become popular and overcrowded they go to pot! ! I guess when that happens we can start another one! !!!

Well we can always limit registration, I know a few forums that are doing that. They are content with the size and block new members from joining. Kind of over the top, but it is a way to fix that problem.

Or have periodic "open registration" times. I know a few torrent sites that do that. You can only sign up on the 3rd saturday of the 5th month on a leap year, or something like that.

Nah, we can just make it like the torrent sites. They give the regulars a certain amount of invitations, and you can in turn use these invites to give to people who might want to join up!!!

But in all seriousness, this seite seems like it has alot of down to earth guys so I don't think that we'll ever get out of hand. We have a pretty good base...

If Bob would just give me the power to do it i would be happy to be in charge of "taking out the trash". Hear that Bob? i dont want to be a Mod but i think i need to power to ban members. So many of you losers would be out the door so fast!!! and by losers i mean Texans and TheMaster :)

Hey couch, with great power comes great responsibility. There may come a time when you might have to ban a Carolina Alliance member. Could you do it?

Hell yeah!!! In fact i would probably try to ban Bob and everyone else, i'd have the whole site to myself. I'm the kind of person that abuses power so the site would probably be completely empty by the end of the day. I'm also a curious person so i would probably see what happens when i try to ban myself. So pretty much by the end of the day i would ban allthe members on the site and then myself out of curiosity. I cant wait till Bob gives me banning power....

Careful. By pointing that out you might get banned. I've seen ndcouch like this before -- drunk. With power or beer, I'm not sure -- but definitely drunk.

I'm still waiting on banning power from Bob. The "Great Bannin" will start in this order. First, TheMaster, Followed by all the Texans starting with sawdust cause he's constantly pissing me off. Then i'll ban all the mods and Bob to secure my power. Then anyone that doesn't call me "your Majesty" in their posts will be banned. After that i will start banning anyone to use the words "the", "taco", or the letter "s". Then if there is anyone left i'm just gonna ban them for the hell of it. Thats my general plan

I'm so disappointed to be in second place. But remember this: wise man say it is better to be pissed off than to be pissed on. :D
