Hello tacoma world, just wanting to make sure I've done the math correctly on what degree shim i need. Rear diff is pointing up slightly. Can provide other pictures too

Before math, why do you need one? If you think so because of something you read that seems possibly right then you should immediately install a 0° shim that's as thin as you can get, preferably no higher than exactly 0". If it's another reason tell us more.

My bad, I've installed a 2.5" and I've been chasing driveline vibes, leaf springs I got didn't come with shim. I get low speed vibes and high speed vibes, it's pretty smooth going about 40 to 60. CB has been dropped maybe 1/4inch, only thing I can think of now is swimming the rear leafs

Before shimming and lowering the CB, have you verified that all components are in proper working order? Especially the center bearing itself, the u-joints (mainly the one at the rear pinion), tires are balanced, brake drums aren’t warped, etc.

Shimming won’t help if the vibe is from worn components. I also recommend not lowering the CB at all, there is only a single u-joint on that half of the drive shaft so nothing to cancel the angle between the t-case and CB.

Brand new driveline, new drums, tires rebalanced not to long ago. I do have spacers too but nothing crazy. New shocks, leafs, bushings.

I am going to check and make sure the ujoints are phased right

Yeah definitely unbolt at least the rear pinion flange and rotate the u-joint through its full range of motion. Any stickiness, crunchy feeling, etc and it needs to be replaced. Those are highly suspect as a cause of vibration if they’ve never been changed out before.

What did Spicer have to say?

Also, try it and see what happens.

That driveline angle finder is from Spicer's website.

Any way, try the shim and see what happens.
