Hey guys, I just ordered a brand new Grillcraft MX series mesh grill for my Tacoma when it comes in. Why? Because I think the stock grill is horrible. I love the look of the Grillcraft MX, so I decided that was one of the first things I wanted to do to my truck. I searched prices online and was finally able to find someone selling it brand new for $238.00 USD! Seemed like a great deal to me so I purchased. I wanted to know of a few things:
    1. Has anyone installed a grillcraft and been denied warranty service?
    2. Does anyone have the grill and have pictures to share?

No experience on install, but not sure how a grille would impact warranty service.

I used to have a stage 2 GTI and had lots of things warrantied lol

Thinking about ordering the same grill. Please post up pics when you get it installed. Let us know how it fits. Fit looks great in the Grillcraft photo, but I would expect it to. Where did you find it for that price?

I made an offer to an ebay seller for a lower price then what was posted. He came back with a counter offer and I accepted. I actually am waiting on delivery of my truck between the 2nd and the 4th! I bought the grill early because of a bonus at work but it is in perfect condition so I am not to concerned. I will update once I install it though as that was going to be one of my first projects lol.

This is not hardware mounted though, correct? I was looking for something that was hardware mountable.

I used goop on the bezel... if I ever needed to go back to stock I guess I would buy a bezel from eBay for 80-90$ and put back my old grill.

I don´t see any reason a grill could void warranty, unless you just put a solid piece of sheet metal up there.
Anyway, good choice, with options like this out there, why is everyone bustin a nut over the PRO grill for twice as much money?

Yeah even some dealers offer the aftermarket install and warranty it too. Well my MK5 took a shit at 120k. I'm not gonna touch another turbo for a while

I'm assuming you probably already installed your new grille but if not you do have to drill holes for this grille,it's not terrible but also not the easiest but the finished product is very nice.Figure on about 45 min.to an hr for install.
