You'll love it! It's a big improvement over the stock shifter.

any of you have a picture of stock and then the short throw? is there a height difference or same height just less movement?

    stock, for now

Urd says on the website about 44% less throw, so less movement.

I like the URD kit. It got rid of the dreaded RPM hang and I would have gladly cut off my left testicle to get rid of that hang, let alone install a short shifter kit.

However, I do not like the WAY more increased shift effort.

It makes a big difference. I love mine.

mine loosened up a bit after a few cycles, reverse is still tighter than stock but the slap method works everytime.

I agree, reverse is not great, the missus is struggling with it.

For the record, mine has never taken an increase in effort to shift or get in reverse.

 I must be, how observant of you.

I suppose you would be to if yours was more like mine.

After you just whined about "WAY more increased shift effort" :notsure:I thought I would let everyone know that's not always the case with this SS.

You can't take a joke can you? EVERYONE who installs the URD say it increases effort (simple search). Then you come along and say it doesn't. Whatever Einstein. Good for you.

I put it in today. It wasn't to hard, getting the little bushing off was a pain. It feels good alot less travel then the stock setup. It goes right into reverse with only a little more effort not much than it took before.
