    Just for the record, you DO need both virus protection and spyware protection on ANY computer. True that most viruses are aimed at PCs, but there is such a thing as Norton Mac Antivirus for a reason.
    And if Macs grow in popularity, so too will the number of idiots who want to write viruses that affect them.
    It's a numbers game, plain and simple. If you were writing a virus, would you want it to affect 10% of the computers, or 90%?

    To address the original post, Macs are good machines, but PC all the way for me.
