Ohh gotcha. If I can't get the coils right away, how will it be without them and just the shocks

If you raise it more than 2” you ride will suck. It will cost you twice as much to reinstall everything twice

Just do the bilstiens with stock coils, at 4th notch to get 1.55 up front. That will get you almost level. Add biltiens in rear if you want to. Cheapest option that will still work well

That like the recommended max height in stock coils?

I highly suggest OME coils. If you use your stock coils on 5100s 3+notch, your ride will be very stiff and uncomfortable. You will regret it.

Man I’m not going to read through this whole thread but for 3 inches of lift you need to do it right and be patient you can’t just spend $200 on some 5100s and set them to 3 inches and mess up your entire truck.

Put the bilstien 5100s on and set them at 0. Then buy some OME 887 springs for $170 from headstrong they will give you 3 inches up front when you put them on the bilstiens. Also buy the progressive AAL to lift the back.

What you really need if you’re going to do it right and not install twice and regret being cheap is buying some SPC upper control arms. You need the UCAs to get proper alignment after 3 inches of lift. Your stock UCAs aren’t going to cut it.

This is coming from a guy who just lifted his truck the same way with some 33s. I had to be patient and wait a while to buy everything but now I have a lifted truck with no worries and it rides great. Do it the right way otherwise keep it stock.

Im going to reitterate that upper control arms are recommended but not neccessary. Depends on your budget. Id send you to an experienced installer that would tell you just that but dont know how to link a live fb stream. Im adding a carrier bearing drop kit to reduce vibrations though

That's the conclusion I've come to lol.
The amount of different stuff I've heard tho. A truck shop is recommending ready lift. Everyone here is against it.
Makes you ask more and more questions

Are you asking why he's going with progressive AAL over the OME Dakar leaf pack? If that's what you're asking it's most likely because of cost. You really can't beat a full Dakar pack for the rears but progressive AAL's will get the job done. If you have the extra cash go with the full leaf pack for the rear.

What makes the difference in the 2? I may try to get the Dakar if I can.
