First off I'm a newbie to this forum, but i ordered a set of 5100s all around from DSM. I was wondering if i can add the the rear 5100s on without a AAL cause my funds are a little low right now. I got the truck about 4 months ago and already it was taller than my other same year pre runners i see around. from looking at i see it has a spacer on the front just can't find whats on the back if any.

I know that DSM said the 5100s can handle stock height to 1" of lift in rear. would i have any problems. (i see everyone puts a AAL or Dakar pack in with the bialys)

Also I'm going to work the front 5100s with the stock coils, if i have them at the middle or highest setting would that mess up my UCAs and such.

Thank you for reading this and helping me out :)

With stock coil you can set them at the highest setting. Some people can get an alignment without issue but for me i needed uca cuz adjustments are fun plus i had very bad camber, ate up my new tires within Weeks. As for the rear u can get by for now until funds are available but you will be stuck with the famous bro lean.

You can BUT !! Be very aware of it & no hauling/loading anything heavy & mostly NO OFF ROADING !! I promise you'll destroy them...

You must've had an issue other than the UCA's ,theres no reason that stock coils/stock UCA's would keep getting within specs for alignment, maybe bad inner LCA bushings ...

    EDIT: bad cam adjusters also

another noob question. do you guys know how many leafs come in the stock pack because it is possible that i have on in already. (got truck off my uncle who has plenty of 80s yota pickups that offloads with so maybe he added one).

i also believe i might have a body lift because i can't find any new looking components in the back

anyways looking forward to installing rears myself

close to spec is what a lot on the forums say w/billys and stock coils. I had no problem before the lift getting my alignments right. After the lift billys/stock coils set at highest setting, I could not get enough caster since camber also plays in the adjustments. So LR uca were order to make up what the stock adjustments could not do. Now non of the stock adjustments are touch (besides toe) except what is available on the LR uca's.
    L alignment # caster 2.9, camber/toe-0 +-
    R alignment # caster 3.0, camber/toe-0 +-

As far as leaf goes I have no clue since I got rid of them 5 years ago lol.
3 skinny leaf and 1 fat leaf (overload leaf) make that 4 leaf total

3 actual lifting leafs and the oppositly face leaf is the overload making 4 total. So it sounds like you already have an aal.

Ok, you've got a very tired single AAL & a 400lb slab of steel Toyota calls a overload, those things crack me up, they over compensated for weak weinie stock leafs

agree 1 AAL between the overload and stock leafs. we used to turn those suckers into knifes lol. since you do have an AAL you'll be fine with the billys in the back.

all depends on what your height preference is. I have 3inches in the front and 4inches in the back running 265/75 r16. no pic of my set up atm too much stuff to list lol.

Ight. A slight bro lean seems kinda cool something subtle.

Right now it has spacers on the front and it's giving me a very harsh ride. I feel every bump. With spacers I have a little rake so I'm guessing high setting( If I can avoid those UCA/Alignment problems you guys were talking about) , I heard highest setting gives harsh ride too but it would probably still be better than right now
