So glad I went with the MT! Drove an auto for a day while they did some work on mine and was pleasantly surprised by the acceleration--thought it would be more sluggish--but discovered what a lot of auto guys say about it always fishing for gears. There's strengths and weaknesses to each, but the manual is perfect for me. Been getting over 22 mph now that it's broken in, too!

obviously the grill is the 4th thing and that's why i said 3/4... bigger tires=more ground clearance and better off road capability and as far as the rest well you answered that already.

Simple function of mods is to make the truck your own. Leave money out of it because of the simple fact that you bought a factory modded truck to begin with. If you wanted no mods then get an SR. You got an OR because you wanted the mods albeit factory installed, still MODS. Almost all mods improve upon what the factory gave us because they are restricted by laws. I’ve learned over the years that less is more when it comes to modding. There’s a point that you cross where it becomes a chore to maintain the truck because of all the added stuff.

If you want to stay stock by all means do so just don’t talk others out of doing it. I mean the Tacoma is known for the mods.

I also just picked up a new Tacoma, I had a 2013 Extended Cab but had to trade up to a double cab due to my growing family. So far i do like it better.

All of this! It’s a tired phrase at this point, but all most need is tires and sliders to enjoy even some pretty gnarly stuff.

Congrats!! I really miss my Super White but now I upgraded to the Calvary Blue and love it just as much. Always will have a soft spot for Super White though.
