Just picked up my new Honda CBR 250R for my first bike!

    Just though I would share. I am new to riding, so I figured I would start with a 250 so i dont kill myself :)

    Only been riding it for a few days.. Really like it, Next Bike will be a 800 or 1000....

    Winch, front hitch, step bars, bed extender, bed step, gull-wing toolbox, tailgate lock, security system, cb radio, etc.
    Cool. The first bike always leaves lasting memories. My first was a Kawasaki KZ650 (fairing, saddlebags, travel trunk, etc), ridden two-up (wife & myself) cross-country in Dec (snow, ice, etc) two months after picking it up. My second was a red 1000cc BMW R100RT, ridden mostly in Europe. After that, the rest were just bikes I rode at some point (no significant importance).

    Ya I went to the dealer to buy a Ninja 250, but when i saw this for less money (3800) I was like what the hell why not! I knew I was only going to keep it for a few months until i outgrow it....

    Congrats, nice scoot! Props for starting small. Too many people buy too big for their first bike. Have you taken the MSF course yet? If not, I highly recommend it. They will help teach good habits before bad ones can form.
