Pending sale. Deposit placed. From a forum that let me post an ad in the proper thread. sorry if a Tacoma owner lost out on this deal.

Hey, I'm actually a 4runner owner but a lot of the stuff is the same. I became a member to post up a set of wheels I thought someone here might be interested in .

I'm putting these 5 huchinson DOT double beadlocks up for $1,100 obo. These things are almost $500 each new. They've got matching Toyota center caps on 4 of them. The 5th (spare) has some brake dust on it They aren't new, but man are these things bomber.

    Takes Toyota ET lugnuts.

    These are shown with 285/75r17 (34s)20181011_170846.jpg 20180921_110904.jpg

I tried to post it to the tire and wheel thread but it won't let me .Can someone help me out?

Wait, so I'm gonna get banned for trying to sell some wheels? Sorry. Thought it was a great deal someone here would like to jump on. Brutal.

Yep .two piece aluminum. There is a rubber "donut" in the middle that pinches the two beads agains the Rim when assembled . Virtually impossible to blow a bead even aired down to like 5psi. They are very stout wheels made for the defense industry for use on our armored Toyota Hiluxs and a five lug version for the landcruisers. These even have the provisions for Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors.

One problem I've had in the past with aluminum wheels is the lug nuts working their way lose.

These use modern Toyota extended thread (ET) lug nuts. So instead of the tapored edge of the Acorn lugnut pinching the wheel against the hub face, the ET lugs thread inside the lug holes of the wheels and a washer on the lugnut puts flat pressure against the wheel. This ensure a uniform distribution of pressure against the wheel and hub face .this also ensure the vehicle is supported agains the hub centric portion.

Guess I should add these are real hub centric wheels and will come with my Toyota lug nuts .

Also, I'm a nerd and actually use a torque wrench. I torque my wheels to 85 ftlb and have had zero issues .

German torque specs just don't cut it for me. "good'ntight"

    Haha

Since I can't post to a "for sale" thread yet because my post count hasn't reached 50, I'm kindly requesting a moderator move my post to the appropriate thread. These are some awesome wheels located in the Tacoma, WA and I'm willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet up if someone is interested. Thanks.
