Just purchased my Pelfreybilt steel hybrid bumper!

Hello Tw, just purchased my Pelfreybilt steel hybrid bumper and sliders last night, for those of who that has purchased from them and shipped the items to a commercial business, curiously how much did shipping cost you?
Also can’t wait for them to come in!

 

I had my Pelfrey sliders drop shipped to the local Fed Ex hub. I don't remember what I paid, but it was very reasonable. I had my skids shipped to my house and think I paid more for that than 120 pound bolt on sliders.

 

Tyler and Satin @Pelfreybilt are fantastic to do business with. They were in the middle of serious family issues (a terribly ill parent) when I was making one of my purchases. They were very good about communicating, even during that family crisis. I can't say enough good things about them, their business, and their products. I have the sliders, IFS and mid skids.

 

Thanks, I’m hoping that shipping these items to my gf’s workplace saves me a good amount of $$$.
Also would anyone know what it means when my shipping method says: “invoice me my shipping”
This is my first time ordering something big, so not sure what that means. Sorry I’m advance for those smart mouths lol. From my understanding it’ll send me a notification when the items ships out?

 

Yea from all the TW members that purchases from Pelfreybilt, they all say they’re good people, main reason why I went with them; also bc they’re bumpers are sick!

 

I'd just ask them. Satin is really good about prompt communication.

 

When I finally get a bumper, I'm torn between the Pelfrey hybrid and the CBI Dakar Rally.

 

Will do, thanks. The Cbi Dakar looks sick as well. But Looks like it exposes the winches a bit too much. But to each and its own. Would say choose which ever one that has a better customer service.

 

It won't happen soon for me. My winch is on a cradle and mounts on front or rear. But damn that hybrid bumper is good looking!

How’re you liking your winch? Was debating about getting something like that too, but wasn’t sure if I wanted to carry it around lol.

 

I use my winch more for work than off road. I carry it in the bed, under my sleeping platform, most of the year.

I really like my setup. For off-roading, I've winched myself backward more than forward.

 

That was my main concern with a winch too, would like to get one for front and back use, but prob won’t be using it enough. Only times I will be using it most likely is during hunting season. Or if not other times when I go fishing and mess around and get stuck lol. Still debating about purchasing a winch

 

It can be tough to justify the cost. Get the HiLift jack Offroad Kit. It's a lot more work than a winch, but it's a fraction of the cost.

 

Im looking into a hi-lift jack once i get my sliders on. My dad ran into a incident during deer season and the stock jack wasn't able to jack up my truck lol. So a hi-lift is next in line.

 

I got one before my sliders. I bought the lift mate, which hooks onto the wheels to lift one corner at a time - lifts much easier than lifting the whole side of the truck.
