my 11 came with weights on the outside. Is the issue that i'll screw up the alloy wheel or what? Should I make them re balance while I have it in for the TSB?

    Really?/!

Your going to complain about something that is so small and insignificant? I can understand complaining about someone or some entity doing something wrong, but to complain about something that is done as a corrective procedure seems a little bit absurd.

    Yeah...That's a LOT of balancing

It can leave marks- I like them on the inside cause my rims are painted black...On the outside I'd have to pay extra for black weights or have paint scrapes and stuff.

Those are the stick on type versus the clamp on type and I guess they would be static balancing.

You have to specify or ask for the tape weights. I had my tires rotated and balanced last week there and I asked them to take the exterior weights off that came from the dealer and put on the inside tape weights, they said no problem.
